The Bottom Line
I ordered the Jambalaya and realized that I should have ordered the fire pit. The club is the reason to go this place as it is hot. If you love to dance, you'll love the rumjungle at Mandalay Bay Hotel. Consider that the music makes you move, the drinks loosen you up and the clientèle is very worth looking at. The atmosphere is pure Las Vegas and you will have an incredible time.
Pros
- The Fire pit - A lot of pork, beef, fowl and fish
- Drinks - over 150 varieties of rum
- Atmosphere - It's a club with a menu
Cons
- It's a club with a menu - the food is hit and miss
- Crowds - a long line to get in
- Twenty bucks to get in if you don't have dinner
Description
- The fire pit is all you can eat and it is worth the 30 plus dollars it commands
- Dancing girls, bongo players and four dance floors. Can you ask for more?
- I believe there are four bars, but I was drinking heavily. With all the rum they have, you will to.
- If you get in for dinner you can stay the night and avoid the line.
- Private tables with bottle service if you don't mind shelling out $275 for a $20 bottle.
Guide Review - rumjungle - Dining, Dancing and Drinking at Mandalay Bay Hotel
I was there with about eight other people who ranked it from phenomenal to overdone. The negative came from the married guy who didn't like the idea that they would allow this many beautiful women into one place. The service for dinner was fabulous and the drinks never stopped flowing. Circumventing the long line to get in made up for the mediocre food. When you're there you need to look up and see the display of acrobats hanging around.
