The Bottom Line
Buffets can be a crapshoot in Las Vegas, my parents would drag me to the Circus Circus buffet as a kid and I thought it was incredible, these days I ask myself how I survived the torture.
Pros
- Plenty of food - all you can eat
- Crab Legs, Prime rib, Lobster
Cons
Description
- Rio Suites Seafood buffet - At $38 it is one of the most expensive, but worth every penny.
- Las Vegas Hilton - A $12 meal, if you're in town for a convention it is a convenient location.
- Planet Hollywood Spice Market Buffet - An incredible selection, worth the price.
- Mandalay Bay Buffet - Delivers quality on a consistent basis
Guide Review - Looking For A Good Las Vegas Buffet?
I can remember having every meal at a buffet when I was younger, these days I tend to frequent the many quality restaurants Las Vegas has to offer. That being said, many buffets do offer quality selections on their everyday menus. The Mirage always has a great shrimp bar, Mandalay Bay offers up incredible Pastas and Prime rib and Caesars Palace does a lot of things right with their Grand Buffet. The days of the $3 buffet are gone but the quality of most has improved. If I had to rely entirely on buffets I would make the Stardust my breakfast spot and I would interchange the Rio and Mandalay Bay on successive days. I would also have to hire a personal trainer because soon I would balloon. But that's what makes Las Vegas so much fun.
