What it’s like at Zeffirino Italian Restaurant at the Venetian Hotel:
This restaurant in the Venetian is something of hit and miss. The pasta is baked daily and really good. The cuisine is pseudo italian with a mix of seafood and the influences of California cuisine. It is expensive and I'm not sure it is worth the money. You can, however, get a table over looking the canals and disregard the fact that you are paying through the nose for mediocre food.
How’s the food?
Avoid the wine list as it is way overpriced. Get yourself a flask and drop in a little bourbon if you really need the drink. I tried the seafood sampler but was not impressed because of the hefty price. You should get a reservation here if your wife caught you looking down one of the waitresses uniforms at the blackjack table. In that case hope that it feels like a romantic evening and smile at your wife as she orders the lobster.
