What it’s like?
Fiore’s dinning room is elegant and has the feel of a place you would take someone special to. I would not go so far as to say it’s romantic, but it’s nice enough that you can impress someone special with it. There is an outdoor section but I have not had the pleasure of sitting out there. Manly, because my wife is not that found of smoke and the occasions when we have visited there has been an abundance of smokers out there. There is a very nice humidor if you are a cigar smoker, not that I am. At least my wife doesn’t think I am.
This restaurant offers a different menu every two weeks or so and it is inventive and satisfying. A very good selection of wine by the glass accompanies the wine list.
How’s the food?
Some of my favorites are the Lamb shank and the bone in sirloin. The lamb must be cooked over a few days because it is so tender and juicy. The flavors that drip from the sirloin are rich. I find they under cook here so if you if you’re idea of medium is very little pink you better go medium-well. For the non-meat eaters there are plenty of options from seafood to poultry to a couple of pasta dishes. Certainly, the meat is the attraction at Fiore.
