What its like?
Essentially you are dining in a 1930s era Las Vegas home that was converted into this charming and comfortable French Countryside house. They just happen to serve really great French food here. The ambiance in the smaller rooms is quaint, comfortable and can be very romantic. Imagine having a very loyal friend who happened to be a great chef and you can begin to understand what the feeling is like at Andres.
This is classic French food with excellent service at a price. The wine list is extensive and has some surprises. Chef Andre Rochat has opened Andre's Monte Carlo and Alize at the Palms as well. Andre's is repeatedly voted among the best restaurants in Las Vegas.
Hows the food?
Chef Andre Rochat really has never created a bad meal, I would say that my preferences usually include a fair amount of seafood. I would warn you that if you decide to add a few appetizers and a bottle of wine that you could break the $400 mark. Its pricey.
On my last visit I had the Rib eye and I smoked a cigar. Oh yeah, and I drank about three too many Manhattans to help me forget about the price. What can I say, Vive La France. Oh, the food was magnificent but I still needed the drinks to help get the credit card out of my wallet.
