What it’s like?
Located at Caesars you can have Hawaiian cuisine with pacific influences in a high end atmosphere. Hawaii meets Las Vegas and the combination lacks the relaxed feeling that you get on the islands. The restaurant does get busy so making reservations is a good bet.
Obviously, if you live in the 808 you probably could cook like this. The décor is reminiscent of Roy’s in West Maui. The ceiling fools you into thinking that water is suspended above you and the muted colors relax you into thinking you can afford the food. Expect a full dining room if you opt for a meal anytime after 7 p.m. You will not get the atmosphere of the Hawaiian islands but you will get the seafood.
The menu is Hawaiian fusion which essentially is Hawaiian seafood with hints of Thai, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and French.
How’s the food?
The lobster might kill you it's so good but the price will demand an override on the credit card. Try any of the fresh fish and you will not be disappointed. Here is a tip that you will need, it seems as though service has a tendency to be a bit lacking at times. The way I see it, order a stiff drink and spend the time people watching or in tantalizing conversation. If you're in a hurry ask yourself the simple question of, why?
