Spring in Las Vegas is not just when the pools open it really is when the vibrant menus come back and all the happiness of the summer season starts to emerge. For me, Spring at Joel Robuchon Restaurant at MGM Grand is my invitation into fresh and light ingredients and my reminder to start thinking about my long ago lost pool body.
I sat down with Chef Joel Robuchon and we chatted about his approach to food this Spring and he laughed as he spoke about how he used me as his lab rat. He tested out a few of his new dishes on me. I'm always the willing participant and I had an amazing time eating far more than should be possible. The fine dining experience at Joel Robuchon Restaurant at MGM Grand is simply unmatched. It's classy and elegant yet comfortable at the same time. Don't be afraid to smile, laugh and eat with your fingers. It's food and it should be enjoyed.
The Spring menu at L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon is also available and you can expect some spectacular flavor combinations from Alaskan Salmon carpaccio to a Sea Bass and Clam dish that is so light and sunny you feel like it could be attached to a string and flown like a kite. Yes, I get way too excited about the Robuchon experience in Las Vegas but let's face it, it's the very best on the Las Vegas strip.
