Carnivores unite! The great American steakhouse revolution is in full swing in Las Vegas although these days these places for steak in Las Vegas are nothing like the steakhouses you went to as a kid. I love a good piece of beef. I love the grass fed, the dry aged, the bone-in, the tar-tare I love it all. Las Vegas has so many steakhouses you might become somewhat overwhelmed when you begin your quest for a good steak. While have a few favorite steakhouses in Las Vegas some standout for different reasons and I'll help you make a decision on where to get your steak in Las Vegas.
If you need a huge steak that is done right in a classy but not ugly fancy atmosphere you'll want to visit Jean Georges Steakhouse at Aria Las Vegas. The dining room makes you feel cooler than you really are and the tomahawk steak is brilliant. You'll fall for the black truffle fritter and the bone marrow but you need to try the crispy pork belly spring roll. Sit at the bar and have a drink and prepare yourself for a piece of beef from the wood burning grill that will make you want fire up the grill the minute you get home.
You might be looking for an evening out in Las Vegas that also includes a steak. You want to start the party early and you want to gain momentum going into the night. Perfect. STK is the Las Vegas steakhouse for you. It's a scene. It's a party and it is right for the person who really likes the idea of a DJ, some dancing and cocktails to go along with their meal.
I have quite a few other favorites such as the Range at Harrah's because I love what the chef does with the menu that appeals to the non-classic steakhouse visitor. I drool over the beef program at Carnevino at Palazzo and Michael Mina slowly poaches his beef with clarified butter at StripSteak at Mandalay Bay. If you need steak in Las Vegas you will not be disappointed but you might be a little confused. Don't forget Gordon Ramsey Steak just opened at Paris Las Vegas and Old Homestead is fairly new at Caesars Palace.
Go get yourself a steak in Las Vegas.
