Couple massage is the way to go for Valentine's Day in Las Vegas. You relax together and then you enjoy a day at the spa together and it really sets the tone for an evening of romance and intrigue. Spa Bellagio Is offering a little Champagne to go along with a facial and massage through Feb. 17, 2013. Aria Spa has a Valentine's Day package that includes an exotic coconut sugar scrub followed by a layer of body butter. Where do I sign up?
When you are done relaxing the evening really gets going with a meal that will set the precedent for Valentine's Day from here on out.
Romance and food are synonymous for me. How can you not be excited about food when the passion that comes out of the kitchen often rivals the passion you feel about...well, maybe it's not as much as the feeling of intense attraction to that person you know is just right, but it is similar. I love food and I love the idea of a romantic meal. My idea of a romantic meal does not include the candle lit table in the quiet corner of the room. For me romance has spectacular food and an interesting environment as well as the atmosphere to spark an evening of flirtatious behavior and shenanigans between a couple of consenting adults.
The romantic Valentine's Day restaurants in Las Vegas I'm suggesting have a little something that can make you excited. From the Polenta at Scarpetta at Cosmopolitan with a view of the Las Vegas strip to the dynamic kitchen at L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand, each of these spots evokes romance in its own way.
The funny thing about Las Vegas is that romance means something different to so many people. I can be romantic having a Margarita at Cabo Wabo Cantina or foie gras at Guy Savoy. Some people find romance while walking the Las Vegas strip with a giant plastic cup filled with a drink while others head up to the Mandarin Bar for a touch of elegance to add to their passion in their cocktail. Las Vegas has enough of everything for every type of person. Where is your romantic spot?
