Drive away from Las Vegas in any direction and you quickly realize that the Southwest is vast and picturesque. If you just want to get outdoors in Las Vegas take a look at the Springs Preserve where you can learn about the ecology of Southern Nevada and the ecosystem that is the Vegas Valley.
