Happy New Year's Eve! You will want a good seat for the huge fireworks show on the Las Vegas strip so let me give you the basics and then you can figure out where to find the best spot. * hotels will be firing off fireworks on New Years Eve:
- MGM Grand
- Aria
- Planet Hollywood
- Caesars Palace
- Treasure Island
- Venetian
- Stratosphere
A few spots that might be prime viewing locations will be the Cosmopolitan Pool, the restaurants out front of the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood and in front of City Center. Also a little further north on the strip a location in front of the Mirage would give you a great view, Rhumbar might work as well as the outdoor patio at LAVO. Head to the Stratosphere and you'll get a view from way up high.
One of the spots I truly enjoy, although it is not all that festive, is the rooftop at the Rio parking garage. You get a view of all the strip and fireworks and fairly easy parking.
Have fun and have a safe New Year's Eve party.
Find a few ideas on what to do inLas Vegas for New Year's Eve. I have done a little poking around and I have a decent idea of what I should be considering but you'll have to do some research before you make definite plans. As you start planning your New Year's eve in Las Vegas ask yourself the important questions such as: How much do I want to spend? Do I want a nightclub experience or a Las Vegas strip experience? Are the fireworks important or not? Where will I eat on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas?
Some New Year's Eve highlights include:
This is your chance to start of the New Year right with a bash to bring in the positive vibes in Las Vegas.
