Feeling like you might have missed the Chinese New Year's Celebrations in Las Vegas. Don't worry, the Lunar New Year party lasts for 15 days so you have plenty of time to celebrate your good fortune. Check out the fire breathing dragon at the Palazzo as the 8,000-pound dragon is perched above the fountains and it breathes fire from Jan. 23 through Feb. 5 at 1 and 5 p.m.

I associate Chinese New Year with celebrations and good food and lucky for me I stopped into Beijing Noodle No. 9 at Caesars Palace to sample a few items from their 2012 Chinese New Year Menu. After my good fortune braised pig's feet I felt like I could take on the world. Savory, spicy and a jolt a flavor that is sure to kick start your chances on the tables. I also tried their "Blessing the Whole Family,
Braised Assorted Seafood" that is meant to represent the harmony of family and getting together to celebrate the coming year. This dish almost made me want to call my mother-in-law over just so that we could spend some quality time together.

If you seek good fortune you might as well get in in Las Vegas.
