Start the Year with a Quick, Cheap, Getaway to Vegas!

It's the first Monday of 2009, how will you spend it? Working? Or will you try to plan a trip to Las Vegas to kick start the year? Here is my suggestion for a quick trip to Las Vegas. First, find a cheap hotel room. This is a quick a trip so don't worry so much about luxury and concern yourself with finding the best possible price.

Second, where will you spend the late night hours? Let's be honest, you're not going to Las Vegas for rest and relaxation, do that when you're dead, you are looking for the quick vacation that will set the tone for the rest of the year. You can sit around and mope, or you can be proactive and make things better. This is your chance. Vegas!

Lastly, this is a quick trip, keep the cost of your quick getaway down to a minimum. You don't need bottle service, you need free drinks by the nickel machines. You don't need steak dinners you need food courts. It's all about saving money in Vegas.

What is your outlook for 2009? Set the tone! Get to Las Vegas and get a little control, use the bad lines, wear too much cologne, drink a Margarita out of a large plastic cup. Do whatever it takes to give you a sense of what you need to do this year. Your New Year's resolution? Have fun in Las Vegas!
